To begin, you'll need medical documentation from your primary care physician detailing your condition.
The first step is to schedule an appointment with a Florida medical marijuana doctor, which you can do through The Sanctuary. If you meet the criteria, your licensed doctor will submit your information to the Florida Department of Medical Marijuana Use Registry, which will issue you a medical marijuana recommendation.
Once your doctor has added you to the state’s registry, you will receive an email with instructions for logging into the state’s patient portal, where you can apply for a card and pay the $75 fee.

Florida certification expire a year after being provided. Up to 45 days before their expiration, patients can renew their cards. You won't be able to use the card if you don't do this because the state will mark it as delinquent. You have the option of online or postal MMJ florida card renewal.

3. Recertification Fees for Doctors
Every seven months, patients must receive certification from a medicinal marijuana doctor. Recertifying your card through the Sanctuary costs just $99!
Patients and caregivers must submit an application for annual renewal 45 days before their card's expiration date. The application can be mailed or submitted online.
Patients must be re-certified by a medical marijuana doctor every 210 days, or every seven months, according to the Florida Department of Health.
