How to Register with the State for Medical Marijuana in Missouri

  1. Navigate to the state's online medical cannabis portal.
  2. In the top right corner of the "Sign In" page
  3. Fill out the provided form completely. Be sure to select the type of application you want. Ensure your Social Security Number and Date of Birth are correct before registering.

  5. Launch your email and check for a verification message from the Missouri Medical Marijuana Program (MMMP). Click Verify and sign in with the E-mail address and password you have created.
  6. Upon successful Sign In
  7. Click the 'I am a' drop-down box and choose 'Patient'.
  8. If you are a new patient
  9. Begin filling in details on the General Information tab. Enter First Name
  10. Click the "Save and Next" button to save the edited data fields and move to the next tab.
  11. Fill in the residence address details on the Contact Information tab. Enter Street
  12. For the mailing address section
  13. Click SAVE & NEXT to save your information and move on to the next section.
  14. Click on the Physician/Condition Information Tab.
  15. Under Recommendation Type
  16. A green box will appear to the right labeled View Available Certifications. Click the green box.
  17. A pop-up will appear listing all available physician certifications that are linked to the applicant’s social security number and date of birth. Choose the electronic form and click ‘Update’. The information submitted by the certifying physician will auto-populate into the application.
  18. Once the electronic form is selected and appears in the application
  19. If you would like to cultivate
  20. Click Upload New next to the document you are trying to upload.
  21. Select Choose File to search for and select the appropriate document(s).
  22. Once selected
  23. Repeat the above steps to attach multiple files to the same document field.
  24. You will not be able to "Submit" your application until all application data requirements indicated with a red "X" are provided. You may click on the tabs at the top of the page to launch the respective screen to provide the required application data.
  25. Click the PAY & SUBMIT button at the bottom of the page to submit your application and pay the $25 fee. Upon successful payment transaction, you’ll be returned to the online system and receive a confirmation of submission.
