Arkansas Medical Marijuana Doctors

Medical marijuana has been legal in Arkansas since 2016, but not everyone is eligible for a card. To legally buy medical cannabis in Arkansas, you must have a qualifying medical condition that has been certified by a licensed physician. Once you have your ID card, you can legally purchase cannabis from any of Arkansas's licensed medical marijuana dispensaries.

Medical Marijuana Card Bentonville, AR

Your doctor will evaluate your condition(s) and determine whether you meet the Arkansas Department of Health's requirements for medical cannabis use during your appointment. You will be able to apply for a medical marijuana ID card with the Arkansas Department of Health once your doctor has issued your certification.

Many cannabis doctor evaluations take place during an office visit, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, telemedicine options are also available for those seeking to renew their Arkansas MMJ cards. The Sanctuary can assist you if you require a medical marijuana certification form for your qualifying condition.

The Sanctuary's doctors are licensed by the state of Arkansas to legally certify their patients for medical marijuana. Our Arkansas cannabis doctor visits do not require any prior consultation.

To schedule your evaluation, call (479) 319-2673 today. Our staff will gladly answer any questions you have about the MMJ card application process.

Please keep in mind that the Sanctuary Wellness Institute is not a medical practice or dispensary. We do not sell any cannabis or CBD products.

Judgment-Free Cannabis Doctor Evaluations

Our mission is to advocate for medical cannabis patients and to guide prospective applicants through the registration process in their respective states. We provide our services to residents of several states that have medical marijuana programs, including Arkansas.

The use of telemedicine to re-certify patients for medical marijuana cards is now legal in Arkansas, but new patients must undergo an in-person doctor’s evaluation. Our staff members at the Sanctuary are happy to set up a virtual appointment for you with one of our doctors. To meet with one of our licensed physicians, you do not need to undergo a prior doctor's evaluation.

During your appointment, your doctor will assess your condition and determine whether you meet the state's medical marijuana requirements. If they believe you would benefit from marijuana use, they will submit a certificate to the Pennsylvania Department of Health attesting to as much. Once your information has been entered into the system, you can proceed with the application process on the DOH website.

Call us at (479) 319-2673 to set up a virtual meeting with a doctor today.

ABOUT

Arkansas Medical Marijuana

Arkansas marijuana laws have historically been harsh. Possession of small amounts of marijuana is a misdemeanor offense punishable by a $2,500 fine and up to a year in prison. Medical cannabis, on the other hand, is now legal in Arkansas, and patients with qualifying conditions can apply for a marijuana card through the Arkansas Department of Health.

ARKANSAS QUALIFYING CONDITIONS

The Arkansas Medical Marijuana Amendment (Issue 6) was approved with 53% of the vote on November 18, 2016. Under this law, a patient can apply for a marijuana card with a doctor's recommendation and use their MMJ card to purchase cannabis from licensed dispensaries. Every 14 days, qualifying patients may purchase up to 2.5 ounces of medical cannabis.

The application process for medical marijuana in Arkansas is straightforward, but finding the right physician to certify your condition can be difficult. The Sanctuary Wellness Institute can put you in touch with a certified cannabis doctor who can assess your qualifying condition(s).

If you have any questions or would like to schedule an evaluation, please call (479) 319-2673.
