Learn about our massage therapists
My name is Hope Damanskis, and I am a licensed Massage Therapist. I have always been interested in using massage therapy and bodywork as a healing modality for relaxation, injuries, and general wellness for all of my life. I strongly believe that our health is our most valuable asset. Proper use of regular massage, combined with stretching and exercise can help manage pain, improve range of motion and flexibility, and give an overall sense of health. Stress in our lives has been called the “silent killer”, and it should not be ignored. I really enjoy helping people on a cellular level. Whether it be emotional pain or physical pain, my goal is to have you walking away feeling refreshed. Investing in your self care is something a lot of us put last, when we desperately need to put it first in order to present our best selves to the world.
I completed my studies at The Cortiva Institute in 2010. The School trained in Swedish massage, deep tissue, myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, Thai massage, chair massage, and sports massage. I am always learning new modalities in my continuing education as well as on the job. I have had the pleasure of providing massage services through volunteerism with various organizations including Hospice Inspiris, Philadelphia Triathlon, Camp Dreamcatcher, and SarahCare senior services. Treating a variety of clients with different needs has enabled me to expand my techniques.
I am ready to bring the benefits of massage directly to you. Massage therapy has brought a sense of balance to my life, my body, and my mind that cannot be described in words, but is felt with the soul. I hope it will do the same for you.

“I have been a practicing massage therapist for about 5 years now. I received 1350 hours of education in a wide variety of massage modalities including Lymphatic Drainage, Swedish, Thai, Prenatal, Somatic Movement, and Shiatsu, and I specialize specifically in Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Therapy, and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation Stretching.
I had the great fortune of studying under Cynthia Ribeiro, former President of the American Massage Therapy Association (2012-2013) and 2017 recipient of the American Massage Association Teacher of the Year Award. The Advanced Neuromuscular Therapy Program that I graduated from under her with above a 4.0 GPA gave me an in-depth insight to very specific anatomy and pathologies that muscles can mimic or contribute to. That, coupled with the title of Health Educator that my school bestowed upon me gives me the means and the passion to give my clients the tools to take a holistic approach to muscular wellness, both in sessions, and at home.”
