Stephen Tryens, B.S., CSCS
Personal Trainer Fitness Consultant
Steve Tryens is a certified strength and conditioning coach and prior Sergeant of Marines. He graduated from Temple University to merge his experience in military and civilian environments with injury prevention and strength coach training.
Steve was originally inspired to teach others how to lift safely after recovering from a back injury. He participated in the Marine Corps, where he was responsible for loading bombs onto the F-18 Hornet. During his time as a sergeant, he observed that his Marines were suffering from debilitating back and knee pain as a result of using a poor foundation while lifting.
After leaving the military, he pursued a bachelor's degree in science and discovered a passion for biomechanics. He is now determined to share his knowledge with those around him to make his community stronger through functional fitness. When Steve isn't lifting, he enjoys reading, camping, gardening, cooking, and fighting with his cat.
