The Mississippi Medical Cannabis Program (MMCP) allows eligible patients to obtain a medical marijuana ID card and purchase products from licensed dispensaries. If you are a Mississippi resident who may qualify for this cannabis program, here\u2019s what you need to know.<\/p><h3 class=\"heading_all\">When Did Mississippi Begin Issuing Cannabis Cards?<\/h3><p class=\"post_para\">The Mississippi Medical Cannabis Program officially began issuing medical marijuana ID cards on August 15, 2022. This marked a significant milestone for the state, as it became one of over 30 states in the U.S. to have a comprehensive medical marijuana program in place.
